Meet Faith

The Heart Behind it All

Faith, outside the frame

Hi!! I’m Faith :)

Jenny Faith technically, but unless you’re my mama and I’m in trouble, Faith works just fine.

Before anything else, I’m a follower of Jesus. My faith isn’t something I have perfectly or neatly figured out; it’s a relationship I’m continually growing in. I’m learning to notice Him in creation, in ordinary days, and in the people He places in front of me.

More than anything, I want the way I live to make people feel seen, welcomed, and loved—whether they know Christ or not. I may be the only glimpse of His love someone experiences that day, and I never want to take that lightly.

South Carolina has always been home. I’ve loved both the salty air of the Lowcountry and the mountains of the Upstate, and I’m happiest outside somewhere with plenty of room to wander.

My dad has always called me his flower child. Since finding my own personal style, I’ve somehow picked up the nicknames “hippie” and “eclectic” everywhere I go. Honestly, though, I get it.

Give me patterns you’d never imagine together, layers—always—the more accessories the better, every color in the rainbow, and anything flowy. It’s weird and a little chaotic, just like me.

I live as much of life barefoot as I possibly can, am known to lose all track of time looking for pretty rocks in the woods, and am physically incapable of walking past moss without stopping to feel it.

I love wandering through thrift stores, finding new coffee shops, taking the long way home—always—and turning ordinary days into little adventures. I feel things deeply, cry pretty easily, laugh weirdly and loudly, and will always choose talking about what makes your heart race over making small talk.

Most days i don't have it all figured out, so i try my best to stay near to jesus, love my people well, and notice all of the goodness tucked inside ordinary life.

I really love strangers

Growing up, my parents did a pretty solid job teaching us about stranger danger.

Unfortunately for them, I grew up and became a photographer who talks to strangers for a living.

And somewhere along the way, I realized that I really, really love people.

Photography has taught me that the people are what make every story uniquely its own and everyone deserves photos that feel like them.

I've photographed strangers that are now some of my best friends.

And I think that's pretty dang cool.

little things have never been little

The moments we end up missing most are rarely the moments we have planned out.

The little things are what make up your story.

Sometimes we all need a photograph to remind us how beautiful we are

Sometimes we just need help remembering how beautiful we are. My goal is to make everyone in front of my camera feel comfortable to be completely themselves.

Faith will take you places a plan never could

Photography was never my plan. But one "yes" to God has led to places, people, lessons and a life I never could have planned for myself.

Obedience doesn't come with a map and neither does this calling.

The life you’re living today is tomorrow’s nostalgia.

I don’t believe a life is made meaningful only by its biggest milestones. It’s also made of ordinary mornings, familiar laughter, tightly held hands, growing families, quiet prayers, and the people who make each season feel like home.

One day, these photographs will become more than images.

They’ll become the album pulled from the shelf years later. The pictures your children sit with on the living room floor. The faces your grandchildren point to as they ask, “Tell me about this day.” They’ll remind you not only of what your life looked like, but of what it felt like to be living it.

That’s why my work is rooted in honesty. I’ll give direction when you need it, but I never want to force your story into something polished or unfamiliar. I want to preserve the laughter, movement, emotion, and beautifully imperfect pieces that already make your life yours.

Because while milestones are beautiful, it’s the people, the moments, and the love surrounding them that make a life unforgettable.

I truly believe every good gift comes from the Lord, and it is one of the greatest blessings of my life that He allows me to preserve pieces of the stories He is writing through the people I meet.

My prayer is that years from now, your photographs remind you of the people you loved, the seasons that shaped you, God’s faithfulness through it all, and just how much goodness was tucked inside the life you were living.

This happened.

This was loved.

This mattered.

Let’s remember it all well.

Kind words from kind people

You're fantastic! Your personality is wonderful. It was great that you connected with my daughters. It absolutely provided them with some comfort and eased their minds about the shoot. I was looking for big laughs, and you captured that.

Jenny was absolutely amazing! She is so sweet and patient. I was nervous my kids wouldn’t want to cooperate for the pictures but she made it to where they had so much fun and truly captured their personalities. I’m so happy with how all of our pictures turned out and would recommend her to everyone I know.

Faith is a joy to be around, and so easy to work with. She was very flexible, even enough to take our photos in the rain, and they turned out amazing. The entire photo shoot felt very natural, even though shooting doesn’t come natural to me at all. Would have photos taken by her again any time :)
